Amazon to sell fake product. My belief in Amazon is shattered.I have been cheated.I will think twice/ thrice before buying anything from Amazon.I bought this product in May 2026 and since I was out of India for a couple of months, I wore it today for the first time and this is what happened. Please check the photos.Pathetic.Even my last purchase of Crocs was fake. The product tore within few usages
Purchased a Lenovo laptop for $2,427.70. Product page showed "Visit the Lenovo Store" with zero indication of a third-party seller. Laptop arrived from Montana Joe/Techdeals Brooklyn NY — pre-owned, fraudulently listed as new. Verified via Lenovo warranty activated 31 days before my purchase. Amazon had no fraud escalation process. Multiple buyers report identical fraud from this seller. Had to file FTC and IC3 reports to get traction.
Buyer beware! I ordered these jewelry organizers on August 7th and they were supposed to be delivered by August 9th however the message is still saying that the shipping has been delayed. I tried to cancel the item but whomever the scam artist in China are that took my money and not send my package keeps denying my cancelation. I've contacted Amazon twice and all I receive on their end is gaslighting verbiage "like they will intercede on my behalf with the seller and keep me posted about shipping (lies). They can't do anything because it out of their area of expertise. One harpy had the nerves to pretend like the phone reception was bad because I asked her would I be receiving my money back if I don't get my item. At this point I am going to take the next formal step towards Amazon and it's now shady business due to them dealing with crappy outsourced businesses.
JJust like a butcher who puts his thumb on the scale or a used car dealer that rolls back the odometer, Amazon is engaging in similar unscrupulous bait-and-switch activities. Advertising products as new, only to ship inventory that is already two years old, is a violation of the implied warranty of merchantability under NY UCC § 2-314 and constitutes deceptive trade practices. I received two separate deliveries of 24 AAA PowerMax batteries, and both packages arrived two years past their manufacture date.Alkaline batteries that are two years old have only 80% of their 10-year guaranteed shelf life remaining and are considerably less powerful than fresh ones as they age. Always check manufacture dates. If you fall victim to this scam, exercise your rights by posting similar reviews, disputing charges with your bank, and reporting these illegal acts to your state's Attorney General's Consumer Frauds Bureau. As a journalist with over 50 years of experience and an Amazon Prime member for over a decade, it is my duty to report that I no longer trust Amazon. They encourage and conspire with sleazy vendors who foist old merchandise as new, prioritizing those ill-gotten revenues over their responsibility to their customers.
My problem with Amazon.com started recently, shortly after the FTC charged Amazon.com with criminal penalties resulting in the historic $1 billion consumer settlement fund for illegally enrolling consumers in their Amazon Prime service.I checked my payment history and my account qualified but because I did not receive the first round of payments between the October - December I had to wait till January 2026 when the second form opened. So I filled out and submitted FTC consumer claim form and submitted it to Amazon through the Amazon application and in less than 3 weeks later, I begin receiving emails from Amazon Account Services informing me that my account has been restricted to "digital purchases only" and there were four emails in total that were supposed to inform me about how and why my account has been restricted. The first email stated "We recently closed an account that belongs to you for violating our Returns and Refunds" policy and that's why we restricted your account. So I appealed the decision referencing my account has never been associated with any restricted account nor have I ever had any past accounts that were opened and were closed nor received any past violations. Then I received the second email changing the reason they initially stated they restricted my Amazon consumer account "Your account violated our Terms of Use" So I appealed decision asking why did they change it from closing an account I had in the past to "Terms of Use and asking which terms of use did I violate but they responded with we reserve the right not to disclose any information to you regarding our decision nor any proof. The Amazon Account Services team are acting in a malicious and corrupted manner becoming of federal civil violations and the people working in that department should be ashamed of the way they are earning money from this job, to feed their children and God isn't happy with that kind of money, that money has Satans' name written on it!
Amazon's decline isn't a glitch in the system; it's the system working exactly as designed. The company has chosen to replace genuine customer support with a maze of automation, outsourced scripts, and dead‑end contact loops that make speaking to a capable human feel like an act of trespassing. What used to be a service‑driven company has transformed into a fortress of bots and barriers, engineered to keep customers at arm's length.Even the executive escalation channels that once offered a last resort — the widely known *******@am… and *******@am… addresses — now bounce back with automated rejection notices. The message is blunt: Amazon no longer wants to hear from the people who keep it in business. The company has built a structure where accountability isn't just missing; it's been intentionally designed out of the equation. For years, Amazon has coasted on the illusion of convenience, banking on the assumption that customers would trade scrutiny for speed. Fast shipping became the shiny distraction masking a slow, deliberate erosion of service quality, transparency, and basic respect. But convenience has limits, and it cannot indefinitely compensate for a company that treats customer concerns as an inconvenience. The widening gap between Amazon's marketing promises and its lived reality is becoming impossible to ignore. If the company continues to prioritize cost‑cutting over competence, automation over accessibility, and opacity over accountability, its decline won't be a matter of speculation — it will be the predictable outcome of its own choices.Amazon isn't merely falling short of its former standards. It is actively dismantling them. And consumers should ask themselves whether the convenience they're clinging to is worth the experience of being treated as disposable.
I had a good experience with PopularKurta. The kurta quality was good, the fabric felt comfortable, and the design looked stylish and traditional. The product was suitable for festive occasions and the overall service was satisfactory. I would recommend PopularKurta to anyone looking for good quality men's kurtas.

Amazon used to be a reputable company where when you purchase something you could be sure that it wasn't fake and that it was exactly what it said it was but now they let things like 100% beeswax natural be listed when it's only 51% beeswax scan. These are products we use on our skin or put in our body nothing should be able to say 100% anything unless it is. In my opinion Amazon is just as bad as eBay now and these companies helping companies like Amazon get better star reviews is sick. I also don't see why proof of any purchase is necessary to write a review for Amazon.
